I can haz pintoz!
My mom sent me some pinto beans and a ham hock, and I finally had time today to try cooking them in my rice cooker... just add water and PRESTO! Aunthentic southern-style pinto beans, cooked just the way I like them! Ohhhhhhhh man... it tasted like home!
Does anyone else happen to make stuff (other than rice) in a rice cooker? Apparently, you can even make cakes and bake bread in them... if you have any recipes, share? Please and thank you!
