I'm not in the Christmas mood this year, for fairly obvious reasons. I'm so glad to be in Japan, though. It's easier to pretend there is no Christmas here.
Glogg sounds like mulled wine. I prefer mulled cider, myself. Yum!
Not a fan of mince pies either. Emlyn loves custard on his desserts, but it's too sweet for me. My favorite English dessert - although not quite a pudding - is scones with jam and Devonshire cream. Yum. (Then again, Emlyn's from the south and there's quite a difference in cuisine between the north and the south. Rather like America, come to think of it. Says the northern girl who's never eaten most of the American foods you described!)
