The Nanny Diaries, episode 1,548
Jul. 11th, 2006 08:02 amWow, a lot can happen before 8 a.m. while I am still groggy and sleepy...
*Woke up at what I thought was my usual time, only to find the house quiet... yep, I'd somehow set my clock an hour ahead. Grrr...
*Stepped on some miscellaneous, bloody body parts of some poor animal in the bathroom; the oh-so generous offerings of the cats' latest prey. Gross...
*Searched for 20 minutes to help Sophie find her school tie, which was in her bookbag all along.
*Had to remove all the food from the fridge and freezer and transfer it to the little fridge and freezer, due to technical difficulties.
*Tripped over a cat, making me even more mad at them... (Honestly, do cats really think, "Oooh, my owners will LOVE this dead, bloody bird I've just killed and eviscerated! I'll just leave it right in front of the toilet for them to step on in the morning...")
*Was finally settling down to wipe the sleep from my eyes when a cry of agony arose from the kitchen... Went in to find Mark sitting at the table holding his eye, ( with a bottle of toilet bleach in front of him... )
Heh. Man, now I need a nap.
