(no subject)

All I want are some plain, low-top black Converse, because my sneakers are oooooold. I went out to every shoestore in town yesterday, and nobody had any in my size. What a waste of bus fare. :(

But... date tonight! :D Leaving right after everyone gets home for London, meeting him in Tragalger Square. How quaint. It will be nice to be out for a change. I haven't really gone out much at all since Mathilde left. :( Now I just have to figure out WHAT TO WEAR, ha ha. :P

I'm getting more and more excited about being in Germany with Nicki. I can't believe I got an offer like that. It's crazy. Who gets offers like that? I might be able to meet up with my friend Lauren there. She was a girl I worked with at Godiva (aka the Evil Chocolate Store,) and she just got married and moved to Turkey. But she has a German grandmother she goes to visit. It would be great to see her. Plus, it will be pretty cool to have a Bavarian Christmas. It'll be all snowy and cold. :D I hope maybe Rocky can come visit me there, since he said he can't really afford to come to England right now.

It's weird how all my friends scattered themselves all over the world after we graduated. Hilary and Betsy went to LA. Caroline's in Swaziland, learning to speak with clicks and bathing in a bucket. No telling where Ashley will end up going with the Air Force. Nicki's in Germany, Lauren's in Turkey, and I'm in England. Plus Mathilde is now in Athens, Greece. The people at the post office here must think I'm smuggling drugs or something, always coming in with packages and stuff to send to Africa or California. Ha ha.

Now I'm gonna go eat some chicken nuggets. Mmmmm... fattening. :D
