Mar. 2nd, 2006 08:20 pmI remember back when Brooke let me borrow her Nip/Tuck DVDs (and I did literally NOTHING but lay around in bed eating junk food and watching them back to back for two days,) Julia had a haircut I wanted to try for myself. Only now I can't find a picture of it, however much I google or ask Jeeves... :( You'd think it would be easy to find Nip/Tuck screencaps on the web, but no.
For the record, it was longish, shoulder-length or longer, and kind of flipped out at the ends... if anyone knows what I'm talking about and happens to have Nip/Tuck DVDs, a cap would be GREATLY appreciated. I know it's a longshot, but...
I wish I could remember what specific episodes it was in. She had a zillion different haircuts over the first two seasons.
I really NEED a haircut. It's getting all stringy and split endy on the ends, plus I've had the same all-one-length do for, oh, about 10 years now! Joely Richardson (Julia) has a thinner face than I do, but she seems to have similar hair, so maybe I can work it. We'll see. If not, I'll just invest in a hat 'til it grows back out. :P
If I can find a freakin' picture of it, that is.
I think I'm going to go to the National Gallery tomorrow, if I can get up early enough. It's free, which is important, because I have to save money for going to Germany. :D The Arnolfini Wedding is there!!! (At the Nat'l Gallery, not in Germany...)
Brooke, I found a little something that made me think of you today, so keep an eye out for a package from the UK! It's nothing super exciting, just a little something cute.
Ozzy Osbourne does these dumb commercials for I Can't Believe It's Not Butter over here. *shakes head sadly* Oh, Ozzy. I guess I still love you. They're better than the old Fabio ones, at least.
It's pretty cool that the BBC will play Full Metal Jacket on TV, completely uncensored. You'd NEVER see that on basic channels in the US. Even most of our cable channels in the States edit the hell out of stuff. Even stuff that doesn't need censoring. Like when they made that guy in The Breakfast Club say "eat my socks" instead of "eat my shorts" on TBS. Ha ha.
