"Hi everybody!"

"Hi Dr. Nick!"

Strange... UK computer keyboards have the punctuation in different places... I also had a brief moment of panic driving home from the airport, thinking the car passing me was on the wrong side of the road.

But other than that, England is lovely. :) At least the little bit I have seen so far. I'm now in Maidenhead (how's that for a name!) and everything looks so... British. Ha ha. Seriously. It is lovely, just lovely.

The house I am living in is cute as a button. Gitte (the mom) and her husband, Clive, are both really nice. The kids seem cool. Sophie (13) is really smart and likes to sew, so that is cool. Mark is adorable, he explained British TV to me today. (Cable is called "Sky.") Well, the kids are off at school and the parents at work now, so I'm alone for the day, which is nice. Just waiting for the shopping to be delivered... how quaint.

I hope I don't have to fly again for a long time, I quite nearly got sick on the plane. :P

I have not yet seen Teh Alan, although I did think for two seconds that Colin Firth was next to me at the airport, but alas, 'twas only a lookalike. ;)

Well, hi everyone! Brooke, tell everyone back in Chucktown that I'm here, and I'm okay, and I miss you guys!!!

Would say more, but I'm still tired. So I'm off to watch more British TV. :) BBC rocks!

Weird. I was actually thinking about you earlier today. I was thinking that I hadn't heard from you in awhile and was wondering if you actually went to the UK. It's awesome that you did. I can't wait to hear the stories you'll have to tell. Speaking of, it's like 9:30 in the morning over there. Why aren't you online now?

Well, I guess since you moved I won't be meeting you at any bars. That's too bad. Maybe I'll come there and meet you in a pub!

Cable is called sky? That's weird. You'd think satellite would be called sky... and cable I guess "ground".

Ha ha I am online. Only they don't have AOL on their computer.

well you need to ask them to get it. I don't check my email often enough to know when you replied to something. how are we supposed to have conversations?

I must go, the shopping has just arrived. Ha ha. This is so quaint.

I'm pretty sure Cable is Cable and Satellite is Sky. The only thing that might get people confused is there are channels called Sky which you can get on cable. I should know. I've lived in the UK all my life...haha :D

Ah ha... I guess they have satellite, then. We call it all cable in the US, even satellite...

I am sure I will be asking lots of stupid questions about the UK. So I'm glad you're on my friend list! :D Ha ha.

I see. We yanks don't know much about the land across the puddle there, though so many of us claim to hail from it.
